GENERAL PURPOSE

Manager – Digital Marketing would be responsible for owning and managing the complete digital presence of SIEHS – including social media, website, and other online touchpoints. The role combines strategy and hands-on execution to drive awareness, engagement, and trust, while ensuring that all digital communication reflects SIEHS’s mission, values, and impact.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORTIES:

  • Own the overall digital marketing strategy for SIEHS, covering social media, website, search, and owned digital assets.
  • Lead content planning, calendars, and deployment across all social platforms (always-on + campaign-based).
  • Develop and manage a blog/content strategy focused on thought leadership, education, and impact storytelling.
  • Explore and implement relevant AI-driven tools and platforms for content enhancement, automation, listening, and efficiency.
  • Identify new digital trends, formats, and channels that can strengthen SIEHS’s reach and engagement.
  • Work closely with internal departments to understand their digital needs and translate them into clear plans and content.

Competency Matrix

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing across social media, web, SEO, and content.
  • Hands-on experience with major social media platforms and their backend tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) and basic SEO best practices.
  • Ability to interpret analytics and reporting tools to drive decisions (e.g., Google Analytics, platform insights).
  • Comfort with AI and digital tools used for content planning, copy refinement, creative variations, and workflow efficiency.

Management Skills

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate organizational goals into clear digital plans and campaigns.
  • Strong planning and time management; able to handle multiple platforms, campaigns, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners (agencies, vendors, tech support).
  • Clear and structured communicator who can simplify digital concepts for non-digital stakeholders.

Qualification: Graduation, preferably MBA / Media Sciences / Equivalent

Experience: 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing

Training/Courses: (preferable): Relevant media courses
