ASSISTANT MANAGER - CLINICAL COMPLIANCE (MONITORING, EVALUATION, ACCOUNTABILITY & LEARNING) - KARACHI

General Purpose:

The position is responsible for developing and implementing quality management procedures and systems. Define quality policies and interacting with the MEAL Senior Manager, help determine the shortcomings of the Operations by analyzing the quality , as well as compliance with established processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Responsibilities and Authorities:

Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning;

  • Development of objectives, strategies and plans aimed at achieving customer satisfaction and the efficient use of an organization’s resources
  • Ensure dissemination of customer requirements
  • Implementation of statistical methodologies and quality tools to monitor and control quality
  • Ensure compliance against defined standard of SIEHS
  • Ensure that monthly MEAL related targets are successfully met
  • Assisting staff in identifying potential improvements to systems, processes and work flows
  • Check compliance of operations via following monthly activities;
    • Ambulance Inspections
    • Station Inspections
    • Ride Along Activity
    • Knowledge Assessment

Management and Reporting

  • Maintain effective communication with the Ops team, management function and ISO consultant & take lead where required
  • Assisting staff in identifying potential improvements to systems, processes and work flows
  • Manage and monitor team performance including team task scheduling, provide feedback on reporting/MEAL activities, dissemination of respective reports to respective function heads amongst others
  • Ensure timely dissemination of all MEAL specific reports to concerned stakeholders
  • Any other task assigned by line Manager

  • Basic knowledge of applicable software to infer statistical data
  • Familiarity with the tools, concepts and methodologies of quality management
  • Should have good knowledge with PC hardware and software

Management Skills

  • Excellent analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details
  • Should have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Should be a good team player and willingness to learn.
  • Should have strong knowledge of customer care processes and techniques
  • Provide proactive suggestions on how to improve the MEAL team’s execution against its mission statement.

Qualification: MBBS, BDS, Bachelor’s in Science/BSc in Nursing/LHV/Diploma in Nursing

Training/Courses: Written/Verbal Communication Skills, Computer Skills esp. Microsoft Office Diploma/Certification in the Quality Management or related fields is preferable.

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in clinical setting e.g., ICU, CCU or NICU or infection prevention & control. Experience in monitoring & evaluation will be preferable.
