An ambulance you can step inside, hands-on CPR and choking response training, and free mental health assessments, all under one roof at Hall 4, Booth D11 to D12.
Health Asia 2026 marks the 23rd edition of the Health Asia International Exhibition & Conferences, Pakistan’s largest annual healthcare and medical industry event, organised by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. Because it is the only UFI-approved (Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) health-sector event in Pakistan, the three-day gathering at the Karachi Expo Centre draws hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, medical equipment manufacturers and healthcare stakeholders from around the world. This year, Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services returns as an exhibitor, bringing its Experience Zone back.
What activities, demonstrations and healthcare experiences will SIEHS offer at Health Asia 2026? In short: an ambulance you can step inside, hands-on CPR and choking response training, free mental health assessments, and a look at the emergency response network that serves the whole of Sindh, all under one roof at the SIEHS Health Asia Experience Zone.
The SIEHS booth activities cover seven stations, each designed to turn healthcare information into something visitors can see and try for themselves:
Here’s what each one involves.
Yes, visitors can step inside a SIEHS ambulance and see, up close, what a rapid pre-hospital medical care unit actually looks like on the inside.
Far from being simple transport vehicles, SIEHS ambulances are fitted with advanced life-support systems (ventilators, defibrillators, cardiac monitors and life-saving drugs) and staffed by trained emergency medical technicians (EMTs). On a typical call, that equipment supports patients facing conditions such as heart attacks, road traffic accidents, severe bleeding or breathing difficulty, so they are stabilised before they even reach a hospital.
In effect, this activity shows what happens in the “Golden Hour” after an emergency call.
Heavy traffic can delay emergency vehicles, particularly in busy parts of Karachi, which is exactly why rapid response motorcycle units exist: they reach an emergency scene at speed while an ambulance is still working through traffic.
Guided by a SIEHS emergency medical technician (EMT), visitors can view a neonatal incubator on display and learn how it’s used to stabilise and protect newborns delivered in the field, including babies born inside SIEHS ambulances during emergency transport.
One of the most practical SIEHS booth activities is hands-on training in CPR and choking response, led by SIEHS-trained emergency medical technicians.
During CPR training, instructors demonstrate how to recognise an unresponsive person and respond safely, and visitors then practise the basic technique under supervision.
Because choking can become dangerous within minutes, this session helps visitors recognise the signs and learn the correct response. Afterwards, participants who complete the training receive a digital certificate.
Yes, at the Experience Zone, the Tele-Tabeeb 1123 team offers on-the-spot personality and mental health assessments, a hands-on look at the same service that runs as a free 24-hour telemedicine & mental health counselling platform across Pakistan year-round, connecting callers to PMDC-certified doctors and mental health professionals for consultation and preliminary diagnosis. In addition, you can learn more about the service on the Tele-Tabeeb 1123 page.
The Balance Board offers a simple, physical way to test coordination and body control. Because balance depends on the interplay between vision, muscles and the inner ear, this station becomes a light, engaging way into a conversation about physical awareness and fall prevention.
Not every station needs to feel like a lesson. Spin the Wheel tests health and emergency awareness through quick questions and challenges, a simple way for families and groups to take part together, and to leave with a few key facts that stick.
The Experience Zone has drawn visitors well beyond the general public, from industry leaders to media covering the event.
You don’t need medical experience to take part. Instead, the zone is likely to be particularly useful for:
Since several activities involve guided participation, allow enough time for your visit, and wear comfortable clothing for the training and Balance Board.
It’s a hands-on activity zone run by Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS) at Health Asia 2026, covering seven stations: an ambulance walkthrough, the Rapid Response Motorcycle Unit, a neonatal incubator display, CPR and choking response training, Tele-Tabeeb 1123 health assessments, a Balance Board challenge, and Spin the Wheel.
The zone is open from 10 to 12 September 2026, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, at Hall 4, Booth D11 to D12, Karachi Expo Centre.
No—you don’t need medical experience to take part, since the zone is designed for families, students exploring healthcare careers, teachers and community workers, healthcare professionals, public health organisations, and anyone who wants to learn CPR or choking response.
Participants who complete the choking response training receive a digital certificate.
Yes—the Tele-Tabeeb 1123 team offers on-the-spot personality and mental health assessments at the Experience Zone, connecting visitors to the same free, PMDC-certified consultation service that runs 24/7 across Pakistan year-round.
Wear comfortable clothing, since the CPR training and Balance Board station involve guided physical participation. Allow enough time for your visit, as several stations are hands-on.
The SIEHS Health Asia Experience Zone offers a practical, hands-on look at emergency response, health awareness and public training, the kind of experience that turns healthcare information into something visitors can actually use. In fact, each station, from the ambulance walkthrough to the CPR training, reflects the same rapid pre-hospital medical care SIEHS delivers across Sindh every day.
Visit Hall 4, Booth D11 to D12 at Health Asia Karachi from 10 to 12 September 2026, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. While you’re there, meet the SIEHS team, take part in the activities, and save two numbers before you leave: 1122 for emergencies, 1123 for free medical and mental health advice.
