Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS-1122) concluded the year with a combined New Year celebration, Cultural Day, and Annual Award Ceremony held at Badhro Jabal, located in the Kirthar mountain range.
The venue, situated approximately 3,000 feet above sea level, is home to the revived Badhro Jabal Health Complex, which includes a maternity home, an SIEHS-1122 training facility, and allied community-focused infrastructure. The location was selected for its relevance to ongoing efforts aimed at strengthening healthcare access and capacity in underserved areas.
Personnel from across the province participated in the event, which featured cultural activities and an award ceremony recognising teams and individuals for their performance and commitment during the year. The gathering provided an opportunity for staff from different regions to come together in an informal setting and reflect on shared operational goals.
Speaking on the occasion, Brig. (R) Tarique Quadir Lakhiar, Chief Executive Officer – SIEHS, said, ‘Our strength lies in coordination and people working with a shared sense of responsibility. Recognizing our teams is essential to sustaining the standards required for emergency response and public service.’
The event marked the close of the year while reinforcing internal collaboration across the organization. As the year transitioned, the occasion carried a sense of renewal rather than conclusion—an affirmation of unity, coordination, and shared responsibility.
