The Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS) is making a strong impression at Health Asia 2025, Pakistan’s largest international health exhibition and conference, organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd in collaboration with the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination. The three-day event, taking place at the Karachi Expo Centre from 23 to 25 October, brings together global healthcare innovators, industry leaders, and policymakers to exchange ideas shaping the future of health in Pakistan and beyond.
The exhibition opens today with Federal Minister of Health, Mustafa Kamal, attending as Chief Guest, marking a significant moment for Pakistan’s health sector as it reaffirms its commitment to innovation, accessibility, and resilience.
At the heart of the Karachi Expo Centre, SIEHS draws attention with its Experience Zone in Hall 4, where visitors witness a living model of Pakistan’s evolving pre-hospital and emergency care system. The zone captures the essence of how SIEHS delivers care that begins long before a patient reaches the hospital — through technology, training, and a human-centered mission.
The centerpiece of the display is the ICU-on-Wheels Ambulance, equipped with advanced life-support systems capable of replicating tertiary-level emergency care on the move. Alongside it, the Rapid Response Bike Ambulance demonstrates how life-saving support reaches citizens in congested city areas, while the Mountain Bicycle Ambulance highlights how SIEHS extends its reach to dense and high-footfall shopping areas where traditional vehicles cannot go.
Beyond mobility, SIEHS presents Tele-Tabeeb 1123, its telehealth platform that connects people to medical professionals for immediate guidance and consultation — a step toward bridging healthcare access gaps across Sindh. The organization’s Research, Development & Education Wing showcases its commitment to nurturing the next generation of first responders and life-savers, with live trainings that underline the importance of skill, speed, and compassion in emergency care.
An equally meaningful part of the exhibit is the registration drive for the Friends of Hope Club, an initiative that invites citizens to actively participate in community service, volunteerism, and health awareness campaigns. The club represents SIEHS’s belief that healthcare is not only the duty of institutions but a shared responsibility of society.
Speaking at the event, Brig. (R) Tarique Quadir Lakhiar, CEO of SIEHS, notes,
“At SIEHS, our mission is simple — to deliver pre-hospital care that is fast, dignified, and free for all. Health Asia 2025 is more than an exhibition for us; it is a platform to reaffirm our commitment to saving lives and to share how the Health Department under the Government of Sindh is building a world-class emergency response ecosystem throughout the province.”
As one of the most visited zones at Health Asia 2025, SIEHS’s exhibit embodies the future of emergency medicine and community-driven healthcare in Pakistan — a system built not just on vehicles and technology, but on compassion, training, and a promise to serve humanity without distinction.
