Mr. Tahir Hussain Sangi is Secretary of the Health Department, Government of Sindh, and a senior public-sector administrator with experience spanning provincial governance, institutional management and healthcare policy. His earlier assignments include Commissioner of Larkana Division, Director General of the Karachi Development Authority and Special Secretary in the Health Department. In his current office, he helps steer health-sector priorities, policy implementation and coordination across public institutions and programmes. He brings to the SIEHS Board an informed understanding of public administration, regulatory accountability and health-system strengthening. His experience is particularly relevant to aligning the organization’s emergency and telehealth services with the broader objectives of provincial healthcare delivery and the needs of communities throughout Sindh.
