Dr. Junaid Razzak is an internationally recognized emergency medicine physician, researcher and educator whose work has helped advance emergency care in resource-constrained settings. He is Director of the Centre of Excellence for Trauma and Emergencies at Aga Khan University and Professor of Emergency Medicine and Population Health at Weill Cornell Medicine. An Aga Khan University medical graduate, he completed emergency medicine residency training at Yale University and earned a PhD in Public Health from Karolinska Institute. His previous leadership roles include appointments at Johns Hopkins University and the World Health Organization’s collaborating center at Aga Khan University. He also helped establish Aman Healthcare Services in Karachi. His Board contribution draws on deep expertise in pre-hospital care, health systems and evidence-led innovation.
