GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Analyst – Store is responsible for managing the inventory and supply chain operations of the in-house ambulance workshop. This includes maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating with procurement and workshop teams, analyzing inventory trends, and ensuring the availability of critical spare parts and materials required for timely maintenance and repair of ambulances.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory database of all spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Perform routine stock audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accountability.
  • Implement inventory control systems to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  • Monitor usage patterns and recommend reordering thresholds based on consumption trends.
  • Liaise with the procurement department to source high-quality spare parts and materials at competitive prices.
  • Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
  • Validate received items against purchase orders for quality and quantity.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and reduce costs.
  • Generate detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on stock status, procurement, and usage.
  • Recommend strategies for improving the efficiency of inventory management processes.
  • Collaborate with workshop technicians to understand material requirements and priorities.
  • Ensure the availability of critical spare parts to minimize ambulance downtime.
  • Maintain a system for tracking issued items to specific maintenance jobs or projects.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory policies related to inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock movement, invoices, and vendor details.
  • Develop and implement SOPs for inventory handling and storage.

  • Familiarity with automotive spare parts and tools is preferred.

Qualification:  Graduation

Experience: 1 to 2 years work experience with in fleet or related work environment.

Training/Courses : MS Word/ Excel
