SENIOR MANAGER - SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

General Purpose

The Senior Manager – Software Development will lead the design, development, implementation, and optimization of software solutions to support the healthcare organization’s operational, clinical, and administrative functions. This individual will oversee application lifecycle management, lead software teams, and drive the integration of technologies such as Microsoft .NET, Dynamics 365, data analytics, and emerging AI tools to improve patient care delivery, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Application & Software Development

• Lead end-to-end development and maintenance of enterprise-level applications using Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, etc.).
• Supervise the development of custom healthcare solutions aligned with clinical and operational workflows.
• Oversee third-party integrations, APIs, and interoperability with health systems and digital health tools.

Microsoft Dynamics 365

• Manage implementation, configuration, and customization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for CRM and ERP-related modules.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline workflows and automate key business processes using D365 features like Power Automate and Power Apps.

Data Management & Analytics

• Lead data strategy initiatives including warehousing, ETL pipelines, reporting, and dashboards.
• Implement data governance, quality, and security practices in line with healthcare data compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA where applicable).
• Leverage tools like Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and Azure Data Services to enable actionable insights.

AI & Emerging Technologies

• Drive the exploration and integration of AI solutions (e.g., chatbots, NLP, predictive analytics) to enhance healthcare delivery and decision-making.
• Evaluate feasibility and ROI of AI-driven projects relevant to patient outcomes or operational efficiency.

Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise software engineers, business analysts, QA testers, and external vendors.
• Manage project timelines, budget forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Promote agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) best practices.

Qualification:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in software/application development, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team lead role.
• Proven experience in:
  • Microsoft .NET development
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization & deployment
  • Database management and BI tools (SQL Server, Power BI)
  • AI/ML solution integration (preferred)
• Experience in the healthcare, non-profit, or public sector is highly desirable.
