Community Midwives provide one of the most important childbirth services in Mobile Clinic: supporting pregnant mothers and their families through the pregnancy process and the birth itself. As a Community midwife, you’ll be an expert on both pregnancy and the birthing process itself. Most commonly, you’ll be working closely with pregnant women, providing support, advice and guidance on options and services available. You’ll also be:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:

• Providing full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations and screenings
• Identifying high-risk pregnancies
• Monitoring women and assisting them through the labour and birthing process
• Teaching new parents how best to provide care for newborn babies
• Liaising with other agencies, health and social care providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Any other task assigned by the Line Manager.

Experience:

At least 1-3 Years position experience in a reputable organization

Qualification:

Diploma in CMW – 02 Years
