Assistant Manager Coordination

This role would serve as a liaison between the organization and Government of Sindh and other stakeholders, such as Health, Finance, Law, AG Sindh, Local Government etc. to maintain strong relations with Media & Public Relations and coupled with extensive experience in Event Management. The main responsibility is to ensure that the fund is released on time and to maintain regular communication with the relevant stakeholders.

  • Qualification: Intermediate, preferably Graduate
  • Experience: at least 3 years of Public Administration, with a public sector organization. Preference will be given to individuals from Health sector, mid-level /senior retired bureaucrat

  • Assist Head of Government Relations, from time to time as per their requirement (preparing cases, searching specific information, liaison with all the external parties)
  • Assist the Head of Government Relations in timely receiving the funding from the GoS to ensure a smooth functioning.
  • Constant ongoing follow-up with all pertinent departments, including Health, Finance, Law, and AG Sindh.
  • Maintain positive communications with local and provincial government agencies, such as the District Administrator, the DC, the DHO, and the appropriate provincial authorities.
  • When necessary, extend assistance to the district operating team so they can network with the local government and electable.
  • Strong coordination with Zonal Manager and Regional Managers, Manager Administration and Security for engagement of law and enforcement agencies of government especially in the case of Government official specific request for service.
  • Ensure prompt coordination with both government and non-governmental entities.
  • Keep an archive of all correspondence between SIEHS and outside parties.
  • Facilitate the Company Secretary with Board of Directors (BoD) concerns, particularly with the correspondence for the meetings of the BoD HR, Audit, Procurement, and Compliance committees and their follow-up.
  • Assist the Public Relations Manager and Officers at region level for better liaising with Local Government.
  • Arranging, upon request, for Director Operations and CEO to meet with government officials on the outside.
  • Develop event concepts, themes, and timelines in line with the Management.
  • Create detailed event proposals, including budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Anticipate and troubleshoot any issues or challenges that may arise during events.
  • Evaluate event success and gather feedback from clients, attendees, and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event management

Key attributes:

  • At least 3 plus years of relevant working experience.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills;
  • Proficiency in at least two languages preferably Sindhi.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver results under pressure;
  • Proficient at follow up and has the ability to take matters to closure.
  • Experience in government and external stakeholder’s dealings.
  • Ability to work well in unstable and frequently changing pace;
  • Proven ability to work creatively and independently both in the field and in the office
