Turning Roads into Lifelines: How SIEHS Saves Lives Before the Hospital

Across Sindh, life-changing emergencies often happen far from hospitals—on highways, village roads, and in remote areas.

Many believe a life is saved at the hospital. At SIEHS, we know it often begins much earlier—where help feels far away and being there in time makes all the difference.

Help That Arrives on Wheels

Near Lakhi Ghulam Shah, a woman went into labor on the roadside. There was no hospital nearby, only the open road. A SIEHS ambulance arrived, turning that roadside into a safe space. Before reaching the hospital, a baby was born inside the ambulance—safe and cared for.

A similar moment happened near Khangarh. The baby couldn’t wait. With the family’s consent, our trained team helped deliver a healthy baby boy inside the vehicle. Alhamdulillah.

These lives were saved not because of a building—but because help reached them in time.

When Distance Becomes a Challenge

In Tharparkar, distance has long made emergencies more dangerous. A patient in Mithi could no longer breathe without a ventilator and needed to be taken to Hyderabad.

Our responders, Love Kumar and Salman, didn’t just drive—they provided ICU-level care on the road. Through rough desert roads, they managed the ventilator and kept the patient stable. For the first time, critical care traveled with the patient.

When Every Second Counts

Some calls leave a lasting mark.

In Badin, a four-day-old baby, Hasnain Raza, suffered a cardiac arrest. The silence was frightening. Our responder Zain Ali immediately began CPR. After tense moments, the baby’s heartbeat returned.

The care didn’t stop there. Hasnain was closely monitored, given oxygen, and protected with neonatal care until he could be safely handed over.

Your Zakat Can Save Lives

The stories you’ve read—mothers giving birth on the roadside and newborns like Hasnain fighting for life—did not happen by chance. They happened because help arrived in time.

But being ready has limits. Every ambulance on the road can only cover so much distance. For every life we reach, there are still many places where help is needed.

When you give your Zakat to SIEHS, you are not just donating—you are helping put another ambulance on the road. You are making sure that when an emergency happens, someone is there to respond.

Aap ka Zakat kisi ki saans ban sakta hai.
Help us reach more people. Help us save more lives.
