SIEHS-1122 Mobilizes Full Force for Flood Preparedness Across Sindh

In a proactive measure to mitigate the impact of anticipated seasonal floods, the Government of Sindh, under the direct supervision of Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister, has initiated a comprehensive preparedness drive across the province. As a key component of this strategy, Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS-1122) has fully mobilized its extensive emergency response network.

To ensure a swift and effective response, SIEHS-1122 has strategically deployed its resources, including ambulances, rescue vehicles, and trained medical and rescue personnel, who are already on the ground in districts identified as high-risk. The core preparedness strategy includes:

Brig. (R) Tarique Quadir Lakhiar, CEO of SIEHS-1122, emphasized the importance of being proactive: “Preparedness is about staying ahead. Guided by the Government of Sindh, our teams are ready and positioned to provide immediate assistance. This is about reassurance—families across Sindh can feel confident that help is near and support is certain.”

The Chief Minister is personally monitoring the situation, directing provincial authorities to maintain round-the-clock vigilance.
