General Purpose:

The Manager – Fundraising will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing fundraising strategies to mobilize financial and in-kind support from donors, corporates, foundations, development partners, and philanthropic individuals to strengthen and scale SIEHS programs and services.

Job Responsibilities and Authorities:

Fundraising Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute an integrated fundraising strategy aligned with SIEHS’s mission and strategic priorities.
  • Identify, approach, and cultivate potential funding partners including local/international donors, CSR programs, foundations, and HNWIs.
  • Build a strong donor pipeline and maintain a robust fundraising calendar with targeted outreach and engagement activities.
  • Lead proposal writing, donor concept notes, and grant applications.

Donor Management & Engagement

  • Foster long-term relationships with existing and prospective donors through consistent communication, impact reporting, and recognition.
  • Organize donor visits, engagement events, presentations, and immersive experiences that align with SIEHS’s vision and ethos.
  • Ensure timely donor reporting (technical and financial) in collaboration with relevant internal departments.

Campaigns & Events

  • Lead thematic fundraising campaigns (e.g., equipment drives, ambulance sponsorship, public health outreach) using traditional and digital platforms.
  • Plan, execute, and manage fundraising events, donor dinners, networking sessions, and awareness campaigns.

Collaboration & Advocacy

  • Work closely with the Communications, Operations, and Finance teams to align narratives, budgets, and impact data.
  • Represent SIEHS at external meetings, forums, and donor platforms as a credible and passionate voice of the organization.

Competency Matrix:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong experience with CRM/donor management systems, fundraising tools, and reporting dashboards
• Ability to develop and interpret funding proposals, budgets, and grant reports
• Basic understanding of data analytics and donor segmentation for targeted outreach
• Familiarity with fundraising platforms, social media tools, and online campaign tracking

Management Skills

• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking to design and execute high-impact fundraising plans
• Strong proposal writing, presentation, and storytelling abilities to convey SIEHS’s mission effectively
• Ability to build and nurture donor relationships with empathy, professionalism, and credibility
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to collaborate with diverse internal teams and external stakeholders
• Knowledge of CSR frameworks, donor funding mechanisms, and not-for-profit compliance requirements
• Experience in organizing events, donor visits, and corporate engagement activities

Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, resource mobilization, CSR partnerships, or donor engagement in nonprofit, social enterprise, or development sector settings.
