AREA SURVEILLANCE MEMBER

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Surveillance Team Member will play a crucial role in monitoring and ensuring the security of our premises by conducting surveillance activities and identifying potential security threats or risks. This role requires keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor premises using surveillance cameras, monitoring equipment, and other tools to identify and assess potential security threats or risks.
• Maintain a vigilant watch over designated areas and promptly report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Detect and analyze security incidents, breaches, or violations through surveillance footage and other means.
• Coordinate with security personnel and other relevant teams to respond promptly to incidents and mitigate risks.
• Document all surveillance activities, incidents, and observations accurately and comprehensively.
• Prepare detailed reports and log entries for review by management and other stakeholders as required.
• Work closely with other members of the Surveillance Team and security personnel to share information, coordinate responses, and ensure effective surveillance coverage.
• Communicate updates, observations, and critical information to team members and management in a timely and clear manner.
• Ensure all surveillance equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in working order.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any malfunctions or technical problems for resolution.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to surveillance, security, and privacy.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information and surveillance data.

Qualification: Matric or Preferably Intermidate 

Experience: 3-5 Years realavent experience (preference will be given to Ex Armed Forces individuals), Proven experience in surveillance, security, law enforcement, or a related field is highly desirable.

Age: Minimum 30 years

Training/Courses/Certification (Preferred): Additional certifications or training in surveillance, security, or related fields preferred.
