Strengthening Emergency Response by strengthening healthcare on wheels

The World Health Organization (WHO) Pakistan has handed over First Responders Motorbike Ambulances to the Department of Health, Government of Sindh, Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS). These bikes are designed to help first responders reach patients quickly, especially in congested or remote areas, thereby saving critical time during emergencies.

The initiative aims to enhance emergency medical services, reduce response times, and improve patient outcomes. Equipped with essential medical supplies and trained personnel, these motorbike ambulances will significantly bolster the region’s capacity to provide timely and effective care, ultimately contributing to better public health and safety.
