ASSISTANT MANAGER – COMPENSATION & BENEFITS (PEOPLE & CULTURE DEPARTMENT)

GENERAL PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for preparing supporting documents for monthly payroll processing and ensuring compliance with legal documentation requirements, such as EOBI and SESSI. The role requires a strong understanding of the company’s compensation and benefits policies and procedures, as well as HR services and operations, in collaboration with the Line Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:

  • Prepare and verify all required documentation for monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  • Facilitate the resolution of attendance management queries
  • Ensure adherence to legal documentation and reporting requirements, including EOBI, SESSI, and other relevant statutory requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the company’s compensation and benefits policies and programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee compensation and benefits data.
  • Handle and manage user-level queries related to the implemented HRIS
  • Processes monthly payroll for salaried and hourly, full time and part time employees ensuring the accuracy of data entry along with coordinating timely close of the payroll transmission
  • Monitor timely receipt of payroll required document.
  • Manage the induction process for new staff in the implemented HRIS.
  • Prepare & manage monthly EOBI & SESSI challans and payments, involves calculating, preparing, and submitting monthly contributions to the EOBI and SESSI. this includes ensuring accuracy in the calculations, timely payment processing, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements to provide social security and retirement benefits for employees
  • Assist with the process and review of payroll related interfaces results
  • Provide assistance to employees with health insurance services and inpatient claim processes, ensuring support and guidance throughout claim submissions and inquiries
  • Assist to process the life and health insurance claims
  • System maintenance of HRIS, calculate and process off-cycle manual checks
  • Draft and prepare employee-related letters and documentation as needed.
  • Assist in special projects including, but not limited to validation of earnings for compensation projects
  • Maintain close relationships with Line Manager assisting with payroll inquiries.
  • Ensuring employee data is received timely and accurately
  • Take independent decisions (or escalate when appropriate) to resolve administration issues for the team.
  • Any other assigned task by line Manager / relevant authority

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Human Resources

Training/Courses (Preferable): MS Office, Training & Development, Written Communication, ISO understanding

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years

Age: Minimum 25 years

Domicile: Sindh

Gender: Male / Female
