Introduction
The Clinical Trainings Department (CTD) serves as an internal training arm for Sindh Integrated Emergency and Health Services (SIEHS). The department caters to the unique medical training demands of SIEHS’ emergency medical initiatives and also provides basic and advanced first aid trainings to other emergency services, NGO’s, hospitals, schools, and the corporate sector.
The trainings offered are based on internationally approved guidelines that are in line with best practices and provide hands-on training on the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED), spine board, simulator models for CPR, AMBU bag, splints and the First Aid box. Allowing trainees to respond to a wide assortment of common, everyday conditions making them an invaluable resource for on-the-spot emergencies. The course is delivered by highly profiled trainers. Upon completion of training, participants receive a certificate valid for 2 years issued by SIEHS.
Trainings offered:
Basic Life Support Program
The training will equip the learner with basic life support techniques e.g. performing CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.
First Aid and CPR training
The training will equip the learner with basic First Aid knowledge and vital skills that can be employed during the most common emergency situations plus it will also ensure that the candidate gains the confidence to use resuscitation and other CPR techniques.
Advance First Aid Training program
Prerequisite: First AID & CPR training.
This course is designed to advance the basic First Aid provider course to a complete rescue responder. Providing the knowledge and skills required to deliver advanced first aid assistance during critical medical emergencies.
